Trainings

These aren't your typical Azure or Kubernetes trainings
If you're expecting standard, boring training – training materials, presentations, some dullness, a day off – basically taking it easy – you're going to be seriously disappointed. These trainings are unlike anything else.
We work based on our proprietary method that we've developed over a dozen years training architects, developers, and DevOps from the biggest companies.
How do others do it? Usually IT training is a ready-made solution. More or less polished slides, lectures to listen to... or sleep through. A pre-tested scenario with predetermined modules. They partially address your needs, but mostly you just need to "check them off." Training completed. The effect might not be extraordinary, but something moved a little.
90/10 - not the other way around
That's exactly the ratio during Protopia trainings. We spend 90% of the time on practical workshops, case studies, solving interesting problems. Only 10% is theoretical knowledge, aka presentations.
Thanks to this, specialists leave exhausted after training like this, but their knowledge and experience shoot into orbit.
Does this method actually work?
The participants know better than anyone – they've felt it on their own skin.
What training are you looking for?
You don't have to pick a ready-made product right away. We'll help you match modules and topics to the needs of specialists at your company. What matters is that the training is interesting and useful for them. If you're not sure which one is best, reach out to us. We'll talk it through and help you choose.

Kto będzie Cię szkolił?

Marek Grabarz
He advises companies in the selection of technology and in the construction of IT strategies. He currently works and acts as a Technology Advisor and Partner at Protopia. He is the leader of the Warsaw Azure Group, Microsoft Azure MVP and a certified Microsoft trainer. He is passionate about new technologies, public cloud and IT security. Privately, he is the husband and father of three wonderful daughters, with whom he spends most of his free time.

Simon Ward
In IT, it has been operating since ancient times, when Internet Explorer 6 was considered “the better” browser. When he managed to realize the dream of every computer scientist (that is, to create a game), he took up the construction of medium and large IT systems. He is passionate about distributed systems, data modeling and an evolutionary approach to architecture. For many years he has taken great pleasure in learning (not only his children) and sharing knowledge during training.

Lukasz Kałuzny
You can talk a lot about him, but he is above all an engineer, an architect, a technology leader, a consultant, a geek and a father of two little ones. He is passionate about public cloud and broadly understood modern architecture in IT. He keeps a close eye on hipster technologies that are just emerging. He has long been associated with Kubernetes and containers (he first publicly urged learning this back in 2014!). Microsoft MVP (Most Valued Professional) in the Microsoft Azure category.
